What if all edible food were consumed and no food were wasted

Foodsharing Luxembourg is happy to join the July edition of the CIRCLE OF LIFE series organised by microtarians SIS in the frame of LUGA. This edition will take place on Sunday the 6th July from 14:00 to 18:00 at the Quartier Stuff Grünewald at Kirchberg (9, rue Marie et Joseph Hackin, Luxembourg) – relocated from the urban farm Kuebebierg due to bad weather.

Participative discussion round — 15:00 – 16:30
What if all food were consumed and no food were wasted?

Let’s imagine we are in the year 2030. Food loss and waste are issues of the past. How did we manage to do so? How does every sector look like now?
After a short collective topic identification, we will have a fishbowl conversation for allowing everyone to participate in the discussion. This session will be facilitated by Daniel Waxweiler. A few key people are invited to get the discussion started:

  • Hannah Proffitt-Perchard has been part of Foodsharing Luxembourg for almost six years, volunteering in the Communication Team. She is passionate about raising awareness and building communities to tackle food waste.
  • Pauline Seeburger is a plant scientist with a nice balcony garden, where she grows her own veggies as she learned from her grandparents.
  • Stefania Filice is a co-founder of Microtarians SIS and enthusiastic about tackling the food waste issue.
