Since November 2022, the Erasmus Plus project “Sharing Food without Borders” has been running, during which the Foodsharing Academy from Germany has been working with organisations of the foodsharing movement in Belgium and Luxembourg. The aim of the project is to focus on educational work on food waste, food wastage and food rescue, and thus, build and develop structures to implement educational work on these topics.The highlight of the project is a three-day foodsharing barcamp from 18 to 20 August 2023 with many exciting workshops on the topics of food waste and food rescue as well as our group structures in a beautiful educational centre, in Matienthal near Mersch, in the middle of Luxembourg.
During these three days, we will also cooperate with a nearby cultural and music festival.
Participation in the BarCamp as well as in the festival will be based on a solidary contribution to the costs (approx. 35 Euros).
Accommodation in shared rooms and full board will be provided.Examples of workshop topics:
- Sociocracy as an organisational form for foodsharing groups
- Social media and influencing in a foodsharing context
- Global connections of food and resource waste ofresources
- Racism in our structures
- Training on the methods buffet of the foodsharing academy
- Psychological contexts of food in the topic of food waste and dealing with conflicts
- Dragon Dreaming project development method
- European election 2024 in the context of the EU target to halve food waste by 2030.We are offering around 60 people (preferably an equal number from all three countries) the unique opportunity to further discuss the issues of food on the topics of food waste and food rescue and to actively shape the process.

Das Erasmus-Plus-Projekt “Essen teilen ohne Grenzen” führt die Foodsharing-Akademie seit November 2022 mit Organisationen der foodsharing-Bewegung in Belgien und Luxemburg durch. Ziel des Projektes ist es, sich rund um die Bildungsarbeit zuLebensmittelverschwendung und -rettung zu vernetzen und auszutauschen, und somit auch Strukturen auf- und auszubauen, die Bildungarbeit zu diesen Themen durchführen können.
Das Highlight des Projektes ist ein dreitägiges foodsharing-Barcamp vom 18. bis 20. August 2023 mit vielen spannenden Workshops zu den Themen Lebensmittelverschwendung und -rettung sowie unseren Gruppenstrukturen in einem wunderschönen Bildungszentrum mitten in Luxemburg, in Marienthal bei Mersch.
Während dieser drei Tage kooperieren wir außerdem mit einem nahegelegenen Kultur- und Musikfestival.
Die Teilnahme am Barcamp sowie am Festival erfolgt über einesolidarische Kostenbeteiligung (Richtwert: 35 Euro, mehr oder weniger jenach Möglichkeit). Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Mehrbettzimmern undVerpflegung in Vollpension werden gestellt.

Wir bieten rund 60 Menschen (am besten gleich viele aus allen dreiLändern) die einmalige Möglichkeit, sich zu den ThemenLebensmittelverschwendung und -rettung weiterzubilden und den Prozessaktiv mitzugestalten.
